COVID-19 UPDATE FROM TMA
The Concho Valley CMS has started a PPE drive with the
support of the San Angelo Community Medical Center and Shannon Medical Center.
Please help us raise awareness and increase donations by sharing this flyer with
businesses, social media, and with your neighbors and friends. Supplies collected will go directly to physicians in the Concho Valley area.
Do you need PPE?
Email us to let us know what you need. We are keeping a list and will be reaching
out as supplies become available.
The safety of physicians, their staff, and the patients
of the Concho Valley area is our biggest concern. While supplies
remain limited, priority will be given to Concho Valley County Medical
Society members. If you are not a member of CVCMS and TMA, please help keep the
medical community strong by joining today.

After careful consideration of the evolving COVID-19 situation in Texas, with input from local and state health officials and TMA’s Coronavirus Task Force, the Texas Medical Association Board of Trustees has determined that TexMed 2020 will not take place in Fort Worth on May 1-2. (Be sure to cancel your housing or travel arrangements.) The health and safety of our members is paramount as you are on the front lines of the fight to control the spread of the virus and treat infected patients.
However, the TMA House of Delegates will convene in a virtual format. Delegates, alternates, and county medical society staff can expect additional information over the coming weeks. Please keep May 1 and May 2 open on your calendars.
You do not need to cancel your registration for TexMed 2020. However, you will need to cancel any travel or housing arrangements you have made. If you have a hotel reservation at the Omni Fort Worth or the Sheraton Fort Worth, you can reach out to the hotel directly to cancel your reservation. You also can cancel your reservation online via the TexMed Housing and Travel page.
